Tata has rolled out from its stable the much awaited “Dzire” competitor the Indigo Manza. According to Mr. Ratan N.Tata, chairman,Tata Motors,” The Indigo Manza is a modern, contemporary sedan on a new car platform that has the potential to emerge as a class leader”.
The Manza is widely based on the Indica Vista but unlike the Dzire it does not look like the manufacturer has tried to convert a hatchback into a sedan simply by pasting a boot to it.It is a new car altogether.
Just like the Vista ,Manza uses the 1.3 ltr Multi-jet (Diesel) and 1.4 ltr Fire (Petrol) engines both from the Fiat Linea.
There are a lot of Safety features and Equipments on the platter that include ABS,Dual Airbags for the driver and front passenger,Bluetooth connectivity,A 2-Din music system with USB/Aux connectivity, the audio control are mounted on the steering wheel, air-conditioning, power steering, power windows, central locking and engine immobilizer.A critical rev indicator needle is added to the tacho that turns red when the engine crosses a critical RPM replacing the conventional redline.
The Manza is priced at 4.8-6.7 lakh rupees(ex.showroom Delhi). At these prices the Manza is surely a value for money family car.

Awesome styling for the Manza. Its sure to rise above its competition. The mileage is somewhere around 13 to 14 kmpl which is good for a 1.3l multijet. These pictures are nice. I also saw the 360 degree viewe of the car on their site (http://www.cars.tatamotors.com/IndigoManza/index.html) Quite cool.
